Throughout her career, Dr. Yakini has been dedicated to promoting health and wholeness through professional counseling, consultation, and education. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she has worked extensively in both academic and clinical settings, most recently at the Chicago Christian Counseling Center. Her roles have included providing direct clinical services, teaching future social workers, and conducting research that addresses critical social issues such as domestic violence, youth violence prevention, and community health.
